Mario is a returning fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. His moveset appears to be mostly unchanged from the previous games, but Cappy was teased as part of his new arsenal in the reveal trailer. Mario has multiple outfits to choose from, including his wedding outfit from Super Mario Odyssey and his builder outfit from Super Mario Maker. I believe Mario is definitely the most classic character in Nintendo Gamers' hearts.

|Side Special||Cape||Whips out a cape to spin opponents around and reflect projectiles.|
|Up Special||Super Jump Punch||Hits repeatedly with a rising punch.|
|Down Special||F.L.U.D.D||Blasts opponents with water. Can charge and aim at an angle.|
|Final Smash||Mario Finale||Mario unleashes a devastating torrent of fire in the direction he is facing. The attack covers a wide range and travels far, so it's best to fire this after you jump.|
Pikachu is a returning fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate too. His moveset appears to be mostly unchanged from the previous game, though his Volt Tackle Final Smash looks to be much quicker and more chaotic. Pikachu has multiple alternate outfits, including a female version with the trademark heart-shaped tail, and an outfit based on Pikachu Libre from Pokken. |Final Smash||Volt Tackle||Pikachu turns into a ball of electricity that dart all over the stage. If an opponent gets caught in the attack, they'll be constantly hit. Finally, Pikachu unleashes a powerful spark with high launch power.|
3. Young Link (From the Wind Waker - Legend of Zelda)
Young Link is a returning fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, this first appearance since Super Smash Bros Melee. His moveset appears to be the same as it was in Melee, with traditional Bombs and Fire Arrows. Young Link can be unlocked through various means, both by playing Classic Mode and VS. Smash Matches. In Classic Mode, you need play as Link and beat the game 6 times, so as to unlock Young Link.
Robin is a returning fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Their moveset appears to be similar as the previous title, but with some different hitboxes on certain attacks like the Up-Special which now fires diagonally. There is also a visible meter above your character portrait that shows you how many uses you have left on your Levin Sword and Tome attacks. Robin has both Male and Female outfits which suit different gamers.
Robin can be unlocked through various means, both by playing Classic Mode, VS Smash Matches and in the World of Light Adventure Mode.
